And yes, it does. I can't wait to see how everyone's going to react and stuff. And also, I blame Sam for pushing him to this. If he hadn't told Dean that he wouldn't have saved him and would have just let him die, Dean wouldn't have been going to such extremes cuz he thought his brother didn't care.
So I'm sitting here going TAKE THAT SAM, THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR LYING TO HIM! while everyone else is like "nuuuu dean whyyy" XD /revels in it
Sam will predictably freak out, idk if Cas is even coming back (since he thinks Dean is dead and he is technically dead). Yea, me too. He has made alot of regrettable decisions this season (they both did), I mean he has had the same experience w/ demon blood in the past and one would think he would be able to relate and ya know, help Dean but noooooo, let's be a douche instead. SPN is so predictable ugh.
I don't have any strong feelings about this season finale one way or another, I (and p much everyone) saw this coming from a mile away so I'm just like 'meh, CALLED IT' and then 'yes, let's art' and nothing else, no tears, no screaming, I'm a little dissapointed tbh
Well, one of them isn't coming back next season anyway because of the spinoff happening (The Bloodlines episode is going to be an actual thing) just don't know which one it is yet. I mean, I could see Sam leaving at this point and going to do that more than anything, cuz they wouldn't toss a Demon/Knight of Hell/The First Blade into that can of worms, and Cas is too weak to do anything about it really... But I don't see him leaving just because Dean's "dead", their bond is such that Cas can probably sense what's happened and will want to find a way to help, since he couldn't do anything/sort of pushed Dean into this to begin with. But maybe that's just my wishful thinking. (PROFOUND BOND HAS TO MEAN SOMETHING, DAMMIT lol)
Yea, the writing this season was just really shitty. It was either really really good (for like an episode here or there) or really really REALLY REALLY FREAKING BAD for most of the season. It's like the writers gave up on everything and didn't know what they were doing anymore, and finally turning Dean into a Demon was there way of reviving everything (cuz alot of SPN fans actually jumped ship around season 6-7 anyway).
Yea, it was a predictable ending, but with a lot of little twists and turns that made it sort of worth it, and makes you want to hold on and see what they're gonna do next year.
Wait, I thought CW didn't pick up the spin-off for a series? And one of them is leaving? Where did you hear that? Why do I never know these things?
Well, I don't think they would make Sam leave because the writers have this idea that we watch the show because we are invested in their codependency (WRONG, it's all about the gay subtext ). But I'm also a little scared that they might drop the KoH!Dean storyline altogether (like they do with literally every Dean-centric storyline ever) because the newer writers are incompetent morons. True, Cas will probably check things out before he goes all avenging angel (what, a girl can dream, right?) and will make disappointed faces at Dean. Cas will definitely move heaven and hell to help Dean if he knew...(AND OF COURSE IT MEANS SOMETHING, I MEAN THINK ABOUT IT, EVEN FUCKING METATRON NOTICED, METATRON) Yes, I agree, some (like maybe 2 or 3) of the episodes were actually good and the jokes were actually funny but others were just awful. I think they need to get new writers, the ones we have right now are just not cutting it right now. We need someone who actually know the show canon and doesn't fill the show with inconsistencies and makes some actually interesting storylines instead of recycling old ones and ALSO SOME CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT FOR THE BROTHERS PLEASE. Well, S6 is like the best season imo (The Man Who Would Be King is the BEST EVER EPISODE, don't fight me on this) but S5 was basically the end of consistent plots in SPN. Either way, PSn has detoriated a lot over the years and I would rather it go out with a bang rather than have it turn so bad that I stop watching...
At this point, not a lot on TV surprises me (my superpower is figuring out foreshadowing lol) but yeah, I guess, it was okay, I esp like Cain storyline. I def wanna see where they go with this next season but I s2g if they fuck this up, I'm gonna stop watching SPN for real.
Yea, I was really excited for Cain too when they brought him in (and then they said he'd be back and they just poofed him... maybe they're saving him for 10, IDK).
As for someone leaving/Bloodlines, it was something i heard a few weeks ago (actually my mom told me she saw ads for it saying someone was getting their own spinoff and it was going to be Bloodlines, but if CW didn't pick it up for whatever reason, then maybe they just scrapped it (Perphaps because of FLASH?))
The man who would be king was definitely one of the better episodes, and Cas trying to be sneaky throughout that season was definitely some of my favorite plot devices, but there was defintiely way too much reaching for plots going on. I mean all of the flashbacks HEY LETS BRING BACK A LONG DEAD WINCHESTER is kinda getting a little old. Henry was cool for the origins of the Men of Letters, but lets not keep diving into the pot constantly to bring stuff up all the time. The horse is dead, stop beating it.
