Study of Dean in Season 9. I wanted to capture his character in this piece, rather than his likeness. Dean is a really complex character, and he has changed a lot since S1, he is more determined, he is more calm, he is more himself now. He's no longer defined by what John wanted him to be or what the angels wanted him to be, he's more than that now and I find that fascinating. My baby is all grown up now...

Drawn from scratch on Photoshop CS5 in around 5 hours. Referenced from screencaps from S09E01 I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here.
